The outdoors is our passion; we love snowboarding, skiing and surfing!
In 1999 we dug our roots in the snowfields and started “Skitriphoodies”, the first evolution of Memory Threads.
We were all about the skiing and snowboarding lifestyle, so it didn’t take long for ski-slope staff to take notice of the cool new batches of custom hoodies and T-shirts making their way down the mountainsides. Almost overnight we were inundated with orders by staff, schools and groups eager to get their hands on their own souvenir hoodie.
It wasn’t long before we found ourselves producing staff hoodies for nearly all of the ski resorts in Australia: Thredbo, Perisher, Mt Buller, Mt Hotham, Baw Baw and Lake Mountain.
Even after 16 years, we are still the only Australian company specialising in ski trip hoodies!
What we hadn’t realised was that our popularity was soaring at sea-level; we were receiving dozens of emails from repeat customers requesting custom orders for different activities and events. It was time for us to broaden our horizons, so Memory Threads was born.
Now, our custom threads can be seen all over the country being worn by students, sportspeople, families, corporate groups, community groups, outdoor adventurists, performers and more. Our custom designs have kept kids warm around campfires and traipsed around the globe following students on international exchanges.
